2025 SA-Specific Advocate 40-hour Certification Training

Join Oregon SATF for the return of our statewide, sexual assault-specific privileged advocate certification training!

Designed to meet Oregon’s Advocate Privilege training standards, this training will prepare advocates and their collaborators to:

  • support the needs of survivors and victims seeking support after experiences with sexual violence;

  • navigate systems; and

  • offer trauma-informed, survivor-centered direct advocacy services.

IMPORTANT: In alignment with Oregon ‘s Advocate Privilege law, participants must attend all 40-hours of training to receive certification. No refunds will be provided to participants that miss training sessions. If you have questions about certification, please reach out to our team at taskforce@oregonsatf.org.

When: October 13-17, 2025

Where: Salem, OR

Cost: $325 / participant, limited scholarships are available, email membership@oregonsatf.org for the scholarship application.

Who this training is for: Community-based DVSA advocates, Campus-based advocates, community/identity-specific advocates, Tribal advocates, anyone providing direct advocacy services for survivors and victims of sexual violence.

Space is limited to a first-come, first-serve basis!

  • Sustainability in Advocacy Practice

  • Systems Navigation (including medical advocacy, criminal justice system, etc.)
